Men Are Pussies & Women Have Balls! Isn't it Ironic, Ms. Morissette, Don't You Think?

Men are pussies and women have balls ... The biggest irony of the ages.

Men are fucking pussies. We are, for the most part, cowards. It is our bane in life. That is why we get acknowledged when we do some heroic act. "Oh, what a hero, he is!" Women, on the the other hand, are heroic every 17 minutes or so. Men avoid and duck out of tough situations, unless of course it involves some sort of brutality, then we're gung-ho. If it requires simple honesty, well ... the male species is somewhat lacking. This is not to say that there aren't exceptions to the rule or that there haven't been those that have battled and overcome their natural tendencies, but for the most part, men are pussies.

And why wouldn't we be? We've been taught to hide our emotions and buck up! To appear strong at all costs, which ironically has lead to our weakness. Men avoid their feelings much like we avoid emotional conflict.

Women, on the other hand, have cultivated emotional ties with themselves, their offspring and each other (albeit with horrific results at times ... the way women treat each other ...eek!). They are, for the most part, far more direct and to the point than men are but there is a tradeoff here as well, cuz the bane of women is that they're bat-shit crazy.

Of course I mean that in the best possible way but the ladies be cuckoo, and why wouldn't they be? The repression and second-class citizenship that's been forced upon them, on top of a hormonal system that would drive any man screaming off a cliff has made sanity a nemesis for them as bravery has to man.

So what's the answer? We live in a world of gender neutrality but we don’t, really. Society has been around for millenniums and those norms will not be broken easily and I'm fine with that. I like men, women and them, but if we find a more harmonious middle ground there may be more bravery and sanity all around.
