On a rainy night at the end of August 2007, on the one year anniversary of Charles Kushner's release from Federal Prison, in a private space within the Grand Havana Room on the 39th floor of Kushner's midtown headquarters at 666 Fifth Ave, plans were underway to destroy the Republican Party.

At the meeting were Charles Kushner, father of Jared Kushner (who was also in attendance) son-in-law of President Donald J. Trump, Alec Baldwin Board Member of the Grand Havana Room and Reed Cordish of the Cordish Companies.

The four met to discuss a vendetta on the then US Attorney Chris Christie for indicting and locking up the senior Kushner. As discussions carried on throughout the night, talk quickly turned from "fatman" Christie to the entire Republican Party. ""We've gotta bring this whole thing down...We need to make a real show of it," Cordish said, a partner at his family’s real estate and entertainment firm. "How we gonna do this? We need a patsy!" Mr. Baldwin quickly chimed in, "How about the Village Idiot?" referring to NYC village idiot, Donald Trump. "Oh Yeah, that fucker sued us two years ago down in Florida. He'll be great! ...but how are we gonna get him?" Reed replied.
